Long Yuxiang pointed out that China and Korea has been very close friends and neighbors in the past. Fruitful cooperation between them has been carried out, from which both sides have benefited. 2012 constitutes a very unusual year to China and its people. The 18th National Congress of CPC has been successfully held; new leadership headed by Xi Jinping has been elected by the Congress. The next five year plan has been published, setting a new goal the party and the government to strive for. A relative well-off Chinese society will be built up in the near future. 2012 also marks a great advancement of friendship between China and Korea. It has been 20 years since the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two. Over the last two decades, relationship between China and Korea developed steadily, increasingly and profoundly, due to joint effort make by governments and peoples of two sides. Co-operation in various fields proved to be fruitful and rewarding. Both benefit hugely from them. Long Yuxiang made a brief introduction of CICCC to the guests. The two made a general discussion about future co-operation in fields of education, cultural exchange as well as economy and trade.

Song Young-gil expressed his deep gratitude for the warm welcome and kind friendship he and his delegation received from CICCC. He invited Executive chairman Long Yuxiang to visit Incheon at a convenient time next year. He suggested that Incheon is considered as the second large city and second large harbor in Korea. As one of the major cities of Northeastern Asia, Incheon is a place of strategic importance to his home nation. About 15 cities of 10 countries, including China and US, have become sister cities with Incheon. It has been 20 years since we two sides built up diplomatic relationship. We sincerely hope that Incheon and CICCC would make further cooperation in the further, in terms of cultural exchanges and other matters. Song himself is a fan of Chinese culture; he is now studying Chinese calligraphy. During his visit in Beijing, he will meet leaders and scholars from Beijing University and Tsinghua University as well. A branch of Beijing University is planned to be set up in Incheon, and they will discuss business relating to this. Song hopes that the two sides could reach consensus on more and more matters. He hopes further cooperation will soon be carried out and to realize a win-win situation from which both will benefit from. He wishes a long lasting friendship between China and Korea in the future.
